Low Idle?

Topic starter

I drive a Honda, and the idle seemed a bit low. I have cleaned the MAF sensor. And there was a vacuum leak, which had been dealt with. I am attaching a photo, i would like to know whether this is good idle rpm? And how can i reset it, if there is a need to?

Idle looks fine. Target idle should be 700 to 900 rom.

Yea for a manual, that seems good to me too at 700.

Is that when your driving the car or at idle in park?

I drive a manual, so yeah in Neutral.

Disconnect the battery cables, hold them together for a few minutes and reconnect, see if that changes anything.
Could have a weak Crankshaft Position Sensor, Any check engine light?

Nope! No check engine! Just low idle. Should try the battery thing!

Watch Scotty’s video on how to make your car run better with a little spray cleaner.

Did you clean the IAC valve along with the MAF sensor earlier?
