Hello..scotty I love watching your videos.. They are very imformative and educational. I would like to know.. would YOU..a as a mechanc...purchase a used 2011-2020 or so Chrysler van with the 3.6 liter engine ? I have seen bad things said about them..especially that STRANGE oil filter system. That scares me... Are they as bad...as some say ? I have an old 2001 town and counntry van now...with the 3.8 V6...which is pretty reliable...but getting up there in miles...and needing some repairs...like exhaust...struts...and lots of "little thigns...and no modern thigs like rear cameras or safety systems..

Scotty has said many times that he considers modern Chrysler products built post-bankruptcy under Fiat and Stellantis ownership of the company to be rolling piles of junk.

Get a good used Toyota Sienna and don't mess with Chrysler/Dodge. I have a piston from a 2010 Dodge Journey that was equipped with that 3.6L Pentastar V6. I got it in the scapyard, the engine was already completely torn apart and that piston was lying in the gravel. The early ones had problems with their heads and they tended to crack. They're rolling piles of junk.
