Scotty how do you feel about the new dodge ram trx? Do you think it will be better than the raptor?
Rams have poor build quality and the TRX is not on the Raptor's level.
That said, Ford is horrible as well. Of the two, the Raptor will be more capable.
Still it is a Dodge product and if not jink from the get-go, it will be money pit in front of your eyes.
What is better depends on your priorities. The motor in the TRX is something special, and is what will drive most sales over the raptor. However, it’s heavy and apparently really upsets the balance of the truck. And the rest of the truck around it, well,...
Something else. If you want to know which truck is more Bad-@$$, go to Car and Driver, or the off road magazines, or something. Or look at TFL, those guys are testing the TRX and raptor side by side right now.
But this is the website set up to complement the Scotty Kilmer channel. So here’s your answer: the TRX may be fast, but reliability is going to be poor. It has “endless money pit” written all over it. Long term ownership is going to be a nightmare. If you value your money and want the better truck, GET THE RAPTOR.
