Hey Scotty I have a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 Magnum v8 and it has 274,580 thousands miles and how can you tell if it has an engine swap because I read the vin inside where the door shuts and opens and where is the dashboard at as well where its see through the windshield too.
The block itself is stamped with the VIN as well. You can look up and see where it is located and then find it on your truck.
Hey Scotty I have a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 it has the 5.2 Magnum V8 automatic transmission 274,580 the body and dashboard has the same vin number and along with the engine it has a white sticker with the scanning symbol and it has a different VIN number and two White number marking on there as well does it mean it's a rebuilt or swap or else the original engine what is your best opinion and thought about this problem?
