Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have tried A/C pro super seal and does it work ? I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 200k miles and ac was replaced before I purchased it. But was told ac would only last around 1-2 months and it would need a recharge and now it does. I tried a u/v dye refrigerant and only spot I kind of notice on top of the compressor which looks like it could be a gasket so was thinking if I should just use a sealer anyways thanks guys.
The stuff works great at destroying AC systems and equipment. On the other hand, if you want the best shot at your air conditioning to work properly fix the leak. (It could be your evaporator. If not accessible check the condensation drain for dye.)
You'll find in general that car products that claim to magically do repairs from a can are snake oil.
Along with what @chucktobias said, I would Get the system evacuated of the refrigerant, if there is any left, then replace the gaskets on the compressor, and condenser while you are at it, and test for leaks. I replaced the compressor and condenser on a Vibe, aka Toyota Matrix and it wasn't too bad of a job. You may not even have to take the radiator fan off to get to the compressor.
Make sure to use the compressor oil to soak the gaskets before installing.

@nlord Did your computer like massively glitch or something? You posted once at 808, and you verbatim posted the exact same thing, 49 minutes later.
@justinshepherd yeah I noticed it acting funny when I posted, like it never completed. I closed the site and opened another, not sure what happened. Where I live, it seems to be a day of internet and cell signal issues.
