[Solved] Does car need alignment now?

Hello

Yesterday a mechanic changed all my car fluids in newly purchased 2010 Honda accord ex 2.4l 5speed auto and everything seems to go as it should. Except the  power steering, I checked the fluid its clean and full. When he was doing it he was obviously turning the wheels all the way to the left and to the right, would this make my car go out of allignment? Now when I was on the highway car was going to the right by it self...

Should I go back and do an alignment?

Thanks

What?

Were any front end or suspension components touched/changed as part of the service?

If yes, then you need to have the car aligned after any front end work.

Don't leave it out of alignment as over time, your tires will start to wear unevenly.

@inthrustwetrust
not to my knowledge, he just drain n filled all fluids... im just guessing since he had to turn tires all the way both ways to get fluid out it went out of allignment..

@jebrim
Did they rotate your tyres? A worn out tyre or low air on 1 side will often do that.
Get the car aligned at a reputed front end shop as a lot of the others don’t have a clue how to diagnose & fix the alignment correctly.

@inthrustwetrust
no i dont think they were rotated. ill check air pressure in the morning tmorrow if not ill take it in so he can align it

@jebrim
Out of curiosity, when was the last time you had a front end alignment done?

@inthrustwetrust
i just bought the car second hand. before going in for fluid changes steering was alot tighter tho

@jebrim
Oh okay, do you mind revealing the year, make & model of your car? Also, I hope you got an honest mechanic to inspect the condition of the car before you bought it.

@inthrustwetrust
yeah i got an inspection its good. 2010 Honda accord ex 2.4l 5speed auto

Did he turn the wheel by grabbing the tire and turning it there or with the steering wheel?  Irregardless, neither would require a wheel alignment unless he adjusted/replaced steering or suspension components

@anndel
from what i saw it was from turning the steering wheel.
