I finally found an available Toyota Corolla hatchback. 34k miles. 2019. It's being sold at a Ford dealership (it was traded in).
CarFax said it had been in no accidents. Thanks to the knowledge I've learned from watching your videos Scotty, I was able to do my own brief inspection of the car.
I checked the gap between the wheel and the frame, and it wasn't a huge difference but slightly different.
The seal between the hood and the rest of the car is thicker on the right and thinner on the left.
And the seam on the right side of the car is ajar.
Under the car, on the right side there seems to be damage to the underbody.
So luckily I was able to say, hey.. that doesn't look right. But I don't know how to tell how bad it is. I plan to take it into my own mechanic to be inspected. But I would be curious to hear if you have any rules of thumb or thoughts on this damage based on your knowledge and experience.

First, it's from a dealer. They are lying. Second, Carfax is not reliable. Third, find something else, you're about to get hosed.
this. If you bring it up they'll probably pass it off as a fender bender. I'd call to see what their reaction is, this sounds like fraud. They clearly didn't bother fixing it right, good to spot immediately.
