I also have noticed some popping sounds when I open the gas cap. Kinda sounds like knocking on the gas tank.
I have issues with coolant. My expansion tank overflows when I drive and the coolant system has air in it. I have to bleed it about once a week to avoid overheating.
My battery consistently dies after about a week of sitting.
I lose a ton of power when my AC is on.

I dont have any codes. ABS is off and tire pressure sensors are old but no codes
It's a 20-year-old car that is not particularly known for longevity. Many things could be causing the problem. Start by checking the basic health of the engine. Check compression and test for head gasket failure. If those things do not check out there is no sense in going any further.
