Half way through the Houston his engine got blown up. He had change coolant and oil in car. We were literally stranded in middle for 5 hrs and had to go back to Dallas
We went to dealer ship they said it gonna cost him $12000. So he is taking it to the court

He was so pissed but when drove it he was loving it. Tell you what that suv is beast

Their powertrain warranty is 4 year/50,000 miles so it failed just outside of that. Thank you for sharing and too bad that happened. This is yet another reason we don’t recommend JLR products and to only lease while under warranty. Unfortunately, some people just learn the hard way.
Well there is a court case that's going nowhere. It is outside the warranty period. Sure it is terrible it happened but not uncommon for Land Rovers.
Most people nowadays don't buy Land Rover and Jaguar products. Thanks for sharing your friend's experience with his Land Rover.
