Door handle 2003 350Z
1) The door does not open from the outside, inside it will open. How can we repair it without buying another handle?
2) Does the Nissan 350Z 2003 use silicone for the oil pan or does it have a gasket?
1) You have to take off the inside door panel and see what's wrong. If the linkage has come loose from the handle, reattach it. (If a retaining clip is broken you'll need to replace that.) If the handle is broken inside you cannot fix it without buying another handle.
2) I have no idea. If no one here knows, that information would be in the car's shop manual or you might find it in a forum devoted to that car.
3) For future reference please ask one question in each post per forum instructions.
4) Please do not use ALL CAPS when you post. It has the appearance of shouting. (It's been fixed here.) Thank you.
Thanks for shooting me a plan. Very appreciated
I fix it. Replace the handle with a magnetic tool 10 mm. Thank you very much for your answer.
I am looking for specs on the bar strut before I take this out. how many pound .
Better do this job myself. Get a jack and stands. 2 tons or 6 tons?
Usually jack stands come in 3 or 6 ton capacities. The 6 ton are taller so you'd have to raise the car higher to accommodate them. Be sure to use good quality jack stands and have a secondary support in place just in case. If you don't need to take the wheels off ramps might be a better choice, but that car's nose is probably pretty close to the ground and it may be challenging to find ramps that will work with it. Likewise you're going to need a low-profile jack, and a high-lift one, especially to use 6 ton jackstands.

I can't imagine the factory would use silicone to seal an oil pan. It's probably a gasket.
You can go to an online catalog like rockauto.com to see what's available.
Thank you. On the manual is a gasket, but the mechanic shop at Nissan Los Angeles downtown uses silicon. But those people lie as they breathe...Certainly
It's possible the shop uses silicone RTV in place of a gasket as a cheap shortcut, not caring that it will start leaking after a while.
