2016 Nissan Rogue with 203k miles. When I open the door on an encline, I have to hold the door open so it doesn't slam on my leg. Is there anyway to fix this?

replace the worn out hinge parts

Replace the door check. There usually is a flat tiny bar between the door and the car, usually between the hinges. That’s the door check. It’s probably broken. Change that out.
