My 2008 Town and Country 290000 miles, 3.3, with an automatic will not manually downshift. What are the most likely things that would cause this? Could it be a fuse? Or could it be a solenoid? Please explain? THANK YOU Scotty!!! You are awesome!!!

were you exceeding the maximum speed of the range you were selecting? Most automatics will prevent you from making harmful shifts.
