Dear Scotty, I was given for my birthday a 2006 Gmc Sierra Truck that has little over 150k miles, I recently just drove it over a hill in my area, and as I did so the check engine light began to flicker and the vehicle is begins losing power before I even got to the top. What is happening? What do you suggest I do to combat this situation? and what is your opinion on this truck? I am all ears 🙂

I'd pull the codes before you drive it more. Flashing engine light usually needs immediate attention. Multiple misfire perhaps?

Thanks I took your word of advise and i'll be testing out the truck in the next few days. Just replaced the coils, spark plugs, oil, and all filters
