Hi,
My 2017 F350 diesel seems to need at least one of the batteries replaced. The dealer’s quote included a charge to reprogram the computer to the new battery.
Since the truck has two batteries, I would think I should be able to change them one by one, keeping one battery still connected at all times so the system doesn’t lose power and call it good.
Or am I missing something?
Thanks!

I think this Scotty recommended tool (Tools in the upper right of this page) is what you need. You connect it to 12 volt source and it holds the memory - for $19, I think I'll order one.
