Hi Scotty,
I wanna take my wife and 3 year old to a USA eastcoast roadtrip.
I would love to know your suggestions about what to purchase and when, and when and where to sell.
We are europeans on a budget and we value reliability and safety more than comfort. Naturally any emergency fixes on the road, i would like to be able to handle by myself.
Trip will probably be a few weeks (say around 3 weeks).
How should we go about it?

Well, see if you can find any kind of a good used Toyota if you're talking used. If you're talking new the same advice except get a new one
