Hello,
I've got a 2006 Honda Civic with automatic transmission. Just had the engine replaced and have been having really bad electrical problems. Engine and transmission works fine. However, when driving the car will stutter and RPM shoots to idle or cuts off completely. Engine code I've primarily and consistently gotten is po685. Fuel pump relay also constantly click when car is in on position. Switched the ignition coil relay and the ecm relay because they're the exact same relay and it didn't change any problems I was having. The car also will not start up or run unless a scan tool is plugged into it. When I unplug the scan tool the car shuts off and the fuel relay pump clicks constantly until I turn car off. Do I need a new ECM or does it need to be flashed or could it be a problem with the wiring?
Please help.
Thanks.
Well that is pretty much classic signs of a Friday CM or a wiring short somewhere between the ECM and the various sensors good luck on that one
