I was planning to clean EGR valve in 2001 Lancer 1.8L Auto. But it seems I cleaned something else...Can you please let me know what have I cleaned? Will any damage occur cleaning this with car/throttle body cleaner (I already did)

Just for future reference, upload any pics to imgbb.com,. That works well for me.
That looks like a idle air control valve or iac. I cannot say with certainty if cleaning it hurt it. Just Reinstall, plug in harness and see if you pull a code or car runs differently. If not you should be fine. They cost 35 to 145 to replace. The egr is located next to intake manifold top back of engine.

I checked my Mitsubishi book again. For some reason it has 2 listed location s....Check under the throttle body. . It's might be hard to see at first
