Hi guys. I live in Canada I see a lot of Tesla’s. People say electric cars lose range in cold temperatures is this a myth or it is actually true because my father is thinking to buy the Vw ID electric car when it comes out.

yes all chemical batteries suffer in the cold. The speed of any chemical reaction is proportional to temperature.
This is correct.
