Mr Scotty I am a young mechanic that have a few certifications..I love your channel and your honesty.I have a 2000 Toyota Avalon XL. With a 165k miles on it. Engine and transmission are good.I changed my valve cover gasket and put a new battery it is a v6 3.0L. Now I want to change my rear struts.they make a clunking noise when I got over bumps.but when it rains the clunking noise is barely noticeable l.I think it’s the rubber cup thing that’s inside it.what do you think it is?

Sounds like the rubber bushings are worn. When they are dry, you are hearing some metal on metal. When wet, the rubber doesn't make as much noise. I would check the bushings and see if they are dry rotted or in poor condition.
