2004 Toyota Tacoma. I took it to the dealer and they checked everything out and couldn't find anything wrong. Of course, the light went out before I got there. They did say the brake fluid was a little high and I notice the light changes going up and down hills. The dealer said the brakes were fine.
Well the light comes on only if the switch is going bad if your fluid is low or the sensor inside you brake master cylinder isn't working right and it sends the wrong information saying it's low on fluid when it isn't or the last one. You could be losing brake pressure but that will only happen when you step on the brakes. If it comes on while you're driving and not stepping on the brakes, i would assume you got a problem with the fluid level switch
Thank-you.
