Is there a way to check if water has entered a crucial part of your car? I didn't drive my Camry through a flooded part under a bridge. But it was at night and rain was pouring. I couldn't tell how high the water was. There is no water in the exhaust when I looked after I got home. No water inside the car either.
Update: engine air filter is dry. But the radiator is wet. Is this usual during heavy rain?
well radiators were designed for air to go through them, and there's nothing to stop rain
So is my car good and I can sleep in peace? :beg:
it depends how deep you went and for how long
I don't think the water were above half my wheels. I stopped right after I saw a Sonata dead in the water puddle. I let other impatient people go pass me to see how deep their cars were under water and the water was above their entire tires.
You're probably fine
check if the engine air filter is wet
