- Scotty, I have a 01 Silverado. The engine runs smooth but randomly cuts off at randoms times. I usually have to wait about 30 seconds or a minute for it to start again. If I try too soon it just cranks but no start. It has no check engine light. It's also recently started to have harder starts. What can it be?

Pressure test the fuel line. Your fuel pump might be on its way out.
