In general do you believe in using engine oil flush and even if you don't have a problem? I am concerned that the remnants will affect the next oil put into that engine

In general the closest thing to an "engine flush" Scotty has recommended is ATS 505 Carbon Clean. However, you have provided zero information about your vehicle which might let us know whether it would be appropriate in your case.
