Since the algorithm showed me your channel Ive been enjoying tons of your YouTube videos on car maintenance so first and foremost I wanna thank you for doing what you do! Now in relation to a video of yours I seen "make your engine last forever" from may 23rd 2022. Do the same flushing rules apply to an ATV engine say a Gas 1998 2wd Yamaha timberwolf 250 4 stroke? Like how you said you dont wanna clean it too well as it can damage gaskets and so on...and would cleaning the engine with diesel fuel hurt? Not running it of course just sitting with diesel fuel pulling the hand crank, ignition off then draining fuel refilling oil and repeating this step until all the gunk is gone. I bought one used for $900 that had an issue of smoking from the tailpipe back in Dec. I was raised driving the exact model figured we could fix it ourselves thinking it wasnt a deal breaker well I've tried dropping oil numerous times and cleaning engine it still smokes and bad too so bad it smokes out the neighborhood so cant really drive it without a gas mask😎. Smoke is like a grayish white color and if I didnt make it clear its continuously smoking the entire time engine runs...however it does run thanks!
