Hello I am interested in buying an Isuzu i-Series truck soon but I am curious if they are good trucks to buy or if they suck. I have seen ones with ranges of about 50-80k miles to 120k to 140k 160k and even as high as 200k miles. Im primarily curious about mileage and efficiency but I would also like to know if anyone else has anything to say. I would also like to point out these are from years between 2006 and 2008 and I intend to buy an automatic so use that information as you can.
They are made by GM (rebadged Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon). If you can get one with standard transmission and with low mileage, it can be a decent truck. Also, pay attention to the rust.
What would you say is too many miles for a truck of this kind? Is 220k too much? How about 140-160k? Just curious. How long do these engines usually last for?
I might consider the 150k mileage if it is well taken care of.
