I've got a 1966 Chevy Chevelle Malibu with a 283 (63k original miles), original Powerglide transmission, and a new Edelbrock 4BBL installed in 2017, along with new spark plugs and fuel pump that same year. Runs okay, drives/rides fine, shifts fine, but there is a bit of a "miss" in the idle. Is it the distributor or what?

You need to adjust your mixture screws to the best idle possible and even adjust the idle a little higher as well.
