I drive a 2014 Toyota Camry SE with the 4 cylinder engine. I get a jerking sensation when accelerating around 35 to 40 mph. I get an interference with acceleration and the rpms dip. Had the transmission inspected. Mechanic told me they took my transmission apart and said there was nothing out of the ordinary. I recently changed my spark plugs myself. Also had a mechanic check my spark plug coil packs and he said that the spark plug coil packs were also in decent condition. I change my engine air filter regularly and I have also recently cleaned my mass airflow sensor. My serpentine belt is also new. Any thoughts? Feel like the mechanics over here might be pulling my leg.

Could be the torque converter shuddering. That year model had issues with the torque converters, many were replaced.

Well, did you get a big fat bill??? Taking a transmission apart and putting it back together is a major undertaking and no mechanic would undertake such an endeavor without charging you a small fortune.
