I have a Japanese imported diahtsu Mira which has done 57000 kilometers in total. Automatic CVT. I have replaced the rubber seal thrice in the last 2 months that prevents oil from leaking into the spark plug chamber (I guess they call it the coil here in my country). Mileage has also suddenly dropped from 20km/litre to 14.5 to 15km/litre and I have noticed a reduction in power while accelerating. My driving habits have not changed at all and usage of air conditioner is also same as before. I do all the oil change and relevant maintanance on time. Catalytic converter was also cleaned recently. The mechanics here are totally clueless about the matter. Kindly help me out.
The coolant volume has remained consistent throughout this period. Spark plugs were also changed recently.
Did that happen right after you change the rubber seals? Did you also change the spark plugs?
