I took my brand new 2020 Suzuki Vitara Turbo car to Suzuki for an oil change at about 6 months ago
(Genuine Suzuki products) in Sydney, Australia. My car is not due for the next service until next year.
My car has only travelled less than 5000 Km on normal driving condition. Now the fresh oil is brown colour instead of golden yellow colour. Is that normal ?
Someone once told me that brown colour means good oil because it is the detergent oil that does all the hard cleaning work inside your engine.
That's pretty much normal
It is probably discolored because until the piston rings seat in, some carbonized blow by with get into the oil. After the rings seat in, your oil will stay relatively clear for quite a while. Sounds normal to me.
