I have a 09 vw passat 2.0 sedan and I took it to four different mechanics that all said the engine has internal damage the timing skipped no compression the codes read the cylinder misfires on all four . Should I have someone replace the head gasket or rebuild the whole thing?

Find the cost of a rebuild, and compare to the market price of your car.
I doubt it's worth it.
