Hi Scotty, I am a big fan and I learned alot from you. I have 2 questions. 1- My Elantra 2015 shaking when I start the engine when it cold for few seconds then run normally, what is the reason?
2- I want to flush coolant, I watched your videos, the engine block will have some water when flushing, how can I take all the water from the system, or it is not necessary? So how I can reach 50/50 antifreeze coolant?
Thanks
What about engine shaking? Any idea?
Check live data.
Scan it for codes.
No codes , I checked
Why didn't you say so up front? You can use compressed air to remove all the water from the block, and by removing the block drain plug if you have one.
Thanks, now it's clear for the coolant. What about engine shaking? Any idea?
For the shake, check the engine and transmission mounts.
It's cold start shaking, I don't think it's the mounting
Try cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor to start. Are you sure there are no codes?
Please only ask one question per post. Thank you.
