We have a 2023 Honda Civic Sport 2.0L CVT Sedan. 22,120 mileage
Recently, every once in a while, when we come to a complete stop, the car will shut off completely. I have to put it in park, then restart the car. Off we go. It has happened four times so far.
Still under the warranty I took it to the dealer. They had the car for twenty four hours. They did a bunch of tests they could not duplicate the problem and even took it for a drive. I told them it did not happen all the time.
My car has a Auto Idler Stop. We don't use it, and I told the dealer that also.
Have you heard of this problem happening to Hondas?

Have you checked the battery? Did you got a pop-up on the dashboard regarding the auto idler stop system?
