I have a 2001 Honda Accord but it has rust underneath it so I was thinking bout buying a 2000-02 Honda Accord with a blown engine for about 500-1000$ to swap the engine. Is it worth it? Engine may or may not have a bad water pump or a blown head gasket with about 182,000 miles

- I did the same thing with an older accord. It could be worth it if the donor engine is in good shape, if not just forget it.

I would buy the newer Honda, have the engine rebuilt at a local machine shop and drive another 300K miles. Don't pay more than $500 for the car. Or, have your motor rebuilt and put it in the newer car.
