Engine’s vacuum causing hissing sound by engine oil refill cap.

Hi I have an Opel Astra J GTC 2012 model with 130 000km on the clock. I have noticed a strong vacuum in the engine and it causes a hissing sound by the oil refill cap. When I remove the oil refill cap while the engine is running I can feel the engine sucking the cap to the point that I struggle to remove the cap. I’m not sure if I should worry about this? I don’t know what an engine vacuum means in a vehicle and how I can stop this from happening?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Change the PCV valve.

The vacuum is by design. The PCV system scavenges crankcase gases and burns them in the combustion process. If you have a PCV valve and haven't changed it in the last 50,000 mi then do that.
