Hi, Thank you for any advice please! I have a 2011 Mazda 3 S Hatchback that I bought used 2 years ago for $4000. It has 220,000 Km on it and runs well except I have been told that the fuses are damaged in the engine fuse panel and the whole panel needs to be replaced. The panel was damaged because previous owner did not replace inner fender and snow, salt etc got up into the fuses (i have been told - my brother took to mechanic he knows). Car is now having trouble starting when I turn key.

Can I get an estimate for cost to replace Fuse Panel please in engine?I have been told $2000 by Mazda dealer and then about $1000 from another dealer. Your advice please and any concerns about replacing a Fuse Box panel entirely? Will car work okay? 

Should I try and Trade in for another car instead?
