i have a 2003 chevy s10 2.2 l4 2wd automatic what is the simplest way to check valve. I was told to take one of the lines off start truck let run for 5 min. or so then put your finger up to it if it is working the valve will pull your finger to it if this is the case which line do you pull off. do you pull off the line above connector side or the opposite end line thanks

Wow! Those are relatively complex computer run systems. The best way to check them is to pay a guy like me with the scan tool that does bi-directional testing. The test you're talking about can give you some idea but it's not a Total complete check of the system
