Hey Scotty, I have an 06 Mustang 4.0 that hesitates to accelerate when floored and then it will pick up but it will be sputtering in every gear I shift. I have changed the gas filter and that improved my mpg just slightly. I just had my catalytic converters deleted and I can here the sputter even more. I removed the cats thinking it was clogged. I changed the purge canister valve and that corrected the speed hesitation on my car but not 100 percent. My question is what can be causing my car to have a sputtering sound "spitting sound from exhaust".
Well when they don't run right based butter, many things can do that. Ignition coils blowing head gasket bad fuel injectors. You name it. So try to find a guy like me to hook up a scan tool to analyze the data
