Hey all,
move got an 02 f-150 with 142k miles. It’s a 4.6L v8. So whenever I turn on my defroster my truck idles roughly as if I’m giving it gas even if I have it in park foot off the brake. I don’t have an engine light for an Egr pressure valve sensor however I did replace that and the problem was still persisting

Turning on the defroster activates the AC compressor which may have a bearing problem and is loading the engine down. Check the AC compressor.
