F150 brake replacement

I recently replaced my brakes and rotors on my 2013 F150 and now the wheel weights rub up against the caliper when driving.  This is the first time I have ever replaced the brakes on this truck, and the tires are about two years old.  Is it possible that the caliper sticks out further because of the new pads or did I botch the brake job?  I've done this on other vehicles dozens of times and never a problem.  The truck seems to stop perfectly,  however im a little afraid to drive it now.

did I botch the brake job?

that doesn't sound right. New pads might move the caliper axially at most a 1/4 of an inch , but they should not move radially AT ALL. Wheels shouldn't be anywhere near it.

So I did try to put the old pads back on just to see. No clearance issues with the old pads. Could it be incorrect pads from the parts store?

maybe. Check the part numbers.
