I asked this question before, 2016 5.0 4x4, and got an answer. Replaced that part and still have this issue. Here is a list of the parts I have replaced in the past 30 days, all Ford parts. Purge valve sensor, throttle body, and 8 plugs. I have still have this intermittent rough idle and stalling at stops. Have have notice a pattern, this usually only happens when the truck us hot, and if I floor it and then come to a stop, it will rough idle and stall. At my wits end with this. Anyone have any suggestions? ( should've bought a Tundra). Thanks
Have you checked the fuel filter and/or fuel pump? If it is stalling out at idle, it may be starved for fuel because it sounds like you have spark.
I would start with the filter as it is super easy and DIY. If it isn't clogged, I would pressure test the fuel pump to make sure it isn't on it's way out.
I will check the fuel filter, and see about the fuel pump. I'm work out of town and my truck is at the house. Will get started on this Saturday. Thanks for the input!
