I have a 2014 F150 XL extended cab. the original tire size 235 but when it was a company truck I would drive on dirt roads, back roads and oil field road and if there was much of a rut the transmission frame bar would hit bottom so we up the tires to 265. now the truck has been surplussed and is my personal truck and needing tires. will be going to a highway tire with not much back road driving. so is it better to go back to the 235 or stay with the 265? which is the best for the life and performance of the truck.

Obviously the factory size, or it would have come with the 265's
