I have a 3 month old baby, my boyfriend has a seeing eye dog (German Shepard), and we have his 3 year old nephew with us most of the time. We are currently using his dads vehicle as we do our search. We are very limited on our money, what are a few different options out there? This is a hard search. I know about the Toyota sienna, but are there any other family vehicles to look into that is affordable?
Well it depends what's your budget. A used Toyota or Honda are most reliable vehicles that can last a long time and will be affordable on maintenance. Sienna, Highlander, and Honda Pilot are better choices.
You haven't specified your budget but if only 4 people with a dog you might want to try the Rav4 too; smaller than the Sienna or Highlander but also more likely you might find something at a lower price.
Toyota: Sienna, Highland, RAV4, Venza. Corolla Cross, if it isn't too small.
Honda: CRV. Possibly Pilot, Latest Passport, and Odyssey (just ones without the ZF 9 Speed transmission). Latest HRV, if it isn't too small. Maybe a Honda Crosstour, if the hatch area is big enough for you.
