I have a Volkswagen 2006 Passat 2.0 t the cooling fan keeps running when the car is shut off where is the relay for the cooling fan located

How about a new fan control module -

Well it can't be a bad relay because when you turn the ignition switch off that stops sending power to the relay. 9. Volkswagens it's either a wiring short or more commonly a failure in the computer that activates the system or an ignition switch that is breaking down and not turning off power even though you turn it to the office position
