Faulty ABS

Hey Scotty, I was working on my Uncle’s 1999 Chevrolet S10 2.2L automatic with 320,000ish miles. It has front disc and rear drums. The problem is it has no rear brakes. What I mean is there is no brake fluid coming out to the rear. He originally came to do his brake flush done. I disconnected the rear lines to the wheel cylinder and no fluid came out, then to the rear hose that has a flare nut and still no fluid. I was pushing the pedal btw. Just to let you know there is no lights on the dash. So when I got to the master cylinder, I trace the brake lines to the rear where it connects to the ABS module and when I disconnected, still no fluid pump out but when I removed the line that goes from master cylinder to the ABS, fluid came out. Does that mean that the ABS module is blocked? If so what are the procedures after installing? I know you have to do a thing called ABS bleeding where you have to use a scanner to command it and does it need to be Reprogrammed to the system? Thanks for your help.

You most likely need a bidirectional scan tool (Tech2 or equivalent) to put the ABS solenoids in the proper position to bleed the brakes.
