I have just purchased my dream car , a 1977 fiat 128 from the original owner on Ebay with only 24,000 miles and its almost like new as it was stored properly . Problem is the gas pump is not getting electric and fuses are good . Curiously there are about ten old school type fuses under the dash and with my electric light I can only get the 2 far light to indicate power as the other 8 are dead even with the ignition switch on and therefore no headlights or turn signals , hazards etc .All my relays are making the clicking sound when I take them in and out . we put in new battery with good ground and the ignition wire from battery appears hot at first junction just before it goes into harness Any suggestions ?
So I'm assuming you tested the power wire with the ignition on with a volt meter or test light? Run a new power wire from the relay and call it a night. Probably got pinched or worn through. If you are getting power out of the relay and not to the pump it has to be the wire.
