Greetings to everyone from Croatia
I own a Fiat punto petrol that is my first car and soon after the purchase a strong metallic sound appeared. Due to lack of money I have not fixed it so far. And with that metallic sound, I traveled 13,000 miles. I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of money to have a mechanic diagnose my engine failure but I would try it myself. So I decided to ask you for your opinion. I personally suspect the valve clearance. The engine has 150,000 miles.

Engine is indeed toast it's worn out inside mechanically you'd have to take it apart and see what's wrong could be cams could be valves could be lots of things but it's a serious problem
When I saw Fiat, I had very little hope.
Then I saw Lancia & I had no hope.
