I think a good first car for Ohio is a civic or a accord. They are reliable, fun, cheap to maintain, lots of aftermarket parts (at least for the civic), and it is fwd which is good for winter. Good luck finding a car! 😀

A rsx is a good option to if you have a bigger budget.

If you are into sports cars go with a NA or NB miata

Not sure about your budget, but I would go with a Civic.   Dependable and great dash layout.   Id also recommend the manual to make it a bit more fun unless you have a long commute.   If you have a bigger budget and are looking used, I would consider a used Nissan Maxima with the 3.5.   They used that engine forever (they used it in the nissan 350z), its port injected so no carbon build up issues, depreciation is great for a used buyer, parts are cheap and they typically come with every option in the book including premier stereo, heated seats and even a heated steering wheel.

Go for Honda accords, civics or Toyota corolla, Camry, they are highly reliable cars, plus you get some luxury stuff for a cheap price

if you end up getting a maxima try not to get the cvt ones and youll be lucky to find a manual one.

You are in Ohio. Get a locally-built Accord or CR-V. Make sure the CR-V has a "5" as the first digit in the VIN number since even Ohio dealers get ones from other countries including Canada.
