Anyone own a first gen tundra 00-06 can you tell me your experience? thanks.
The one I saw had five previous owners by the way.
Wow. 305k miles. My family has never owned a vehicle over 100k miles. That's crazy, man. Also, next time, you need to answer as a separate answer by going down to the bottom of the page and clicking 'answer'. Thanks for responding, though.
I've had scores of customers with them and they all love them

Generally, people have positive reviews as you can see and what Scotty says, but there are also those who have to pay the higher repair+maintenance expenses of the V8 engine.
5 owners? That means that owners changed on average every 3 years if they all had it the same amount of time. You not only have a mix of difference quality of the maintenance done, but also it hints to some problems with it.
Look for 2 owner/ maybe 3 owner max because its an old vehicle.
Carfax would also be helpful when looking at a listing.
yeah i know...
Having 5 previous owners bothers me. I usually look for vehicles with just one previous owner.
You have to look closely in the history report and see if it’s truly 5 distinct owners. Sometimes the cars change hands between companies and dealers and it counts as multiple owners and that doesn’t bother me so much. It’s when you have 5 distinct individuals that previously owned the vehicle that you wonder what was possibly wrong with the vehicle that it had so many owners?
I am pretty sure it was a lease vehicle for 3 years because the owner selling it has had it for nearly 5 years which is a lot of time.
If you can find one and afford one they have an excellent reputation.
I've never owned a Toyota it is going to be a new experience for me.
Good trucks. Vehicles get passed around for various reasons all the time. If it checks out I wouldn't let that stop me.
I'm probably going to use 'yourmechanic' app to check the car and get it shipped to my house.
i've never had a toyota vehicle ever and am excited to get a truck for my dad.
