Hey guys, I want a fun manual under $6,000 for my first car that I won't brake. I have someone I know will teach how to drive manual and I have a ton of faith in me in being able to drive one. I feel like I'll learn in less than a week. Is there any suggestions? I have a decent amount of experience on the road already.
Honda fit.
Older generation Mazda Miata
4 door though but thats a good one
@icemine1
I've never heard of or seen a 4-door Mazda Miata. But the late 1990s early 2000s Miatas are awesome project cars and dirt cheap to work on. They're pretty reliable cars.
Lol I meant that I need a 4 door car but ill be taking a look at them actually too.
@icemine1
Ooooh that makes total sense now. I was like "why is this person talking about a 4-door Miata?!" lol. Anyways, good luck searching for your first car.
my civic manual is pretty smooth and forgiving, dont even need to use the gas pedal to start off in 1st gear
i had a mazda pickup once that wasnt bad
i had a ford with three on the tree that took some learning
I was thinking of getting a mazda for my first manual, is it a good choice? I dont really want a civic either though. The looks arent appealing to me at all.
i think that would be a good choice
What type of mazda though? Im looking for a 2005-2013
i am no mazda expert, seems like your choices would be miata, mazda3, mazda5, mazda6, cx-5
When you get it and start driving, report back! What car did you end up getting and Let us know how long it took you to pick up.
Sure will!
I never had children of my own because I never wanted to own a car with more than two doors.
