Do you think a 2006 chevy silverado 4x4 z71 with 130,000 is a good first truck it's being sold for $8,500 or should I stay away from chevy no matter the year?

I dont care what scotty says I like chevy trucks but I cant tell you if its a good prive or not when I dont know what engine is in it
It's an ok first truck, but I think that's way too much money for it. I would only give about half that.

if the rocker panels aren't rusted out like most of them are (depending on what part of the country you're from) it could be an OK truck, I had a 2003 1500 purchased with 96,000 miles on it, and it was a headache. 4x4 was shot, transfer case leaked fluid, among many other things. Just be ready for alot of parts going out. If it's more of a project vehicle and not really a commuter vehicle, It might be ok, but yeah that price sounds way too high. maybe 5 grand but I also havent seen it.
